The Bluebell

Hoby Thursday 2nd March 2006

Eight past members gathered despite the frosty weather. Some had forgotten each other and by the end of the evening they were beginning to realise why.

Ian Goodson and Tony Bradley sat back in dumbfounded astonishment ...

... when the chorus began 'Four and twenty virgins came down from Inverness'.

I did not make the mistake of asking Alan Tabiner and Rob Goddard to smile for the camera ...

... but I did say 'watch the dickie bird'.

John Ireland was unable to persuade Terry Riddle to disclose the message on the front of his sweatshirt ...

... (It said 'The Beer Is On Me'.)

No matter how hard Warwick Pople elbowed Ben Crossley ...

... he couldn't get him to fall on the fire.
