Shows and exhibitions always drew a crowd of motorcyclists eager to spend their hard earned cash. We always came away with bags full of brochures, dreams of next season's bikes, a lust for after-market accessories and the scantily dressed sales girls.

Another necessity was a show badge, often provided as a means of fund raising either by the show organizers or a club or federation.
