59 Club Dragon

There is no need for an introduction to the 59 Club aka the 9, as it is known.

Material regarding the history of the club and the two main characters behind its success can be found in abundance on the internet. There are two main sources, the 59 Club site itself, or the excellent The Spirit of 59 site created by Lenny Paterson, a Chelsea Bridge rocker from late '65 onwards, and also a member of the 59 Club from 1966. He also started the Rockers Reunions in London, in 1981.

One of the goals of this site is to pay tribute to a man who epitomised the Spirit of the 59 Club, but had been unfairly written out its history and excluded; Father Graham Hullett.

Father Hullett was a dedicated biker who took part in numerous motorcycle events on his BSA 650s and Norton 750s, including the Dragon Rally and the Elefantentreffen which he attended six times.

When he died in 2012, he left Lenny Paterson his vast collection of photos including a few rare ones taken at these two meetings. Thanks to Lenny who wanted Father Hullett's photos to be exhibited for the benefit of everyone, we can now publish the photographs showing him and his fellow 59 Club members at Dragon rallies.
