Autumn Nabd'ness Rally

The 2008 Autumn NABDness rally took place on a site just off the A40 in Oxfordshire. With the rain before and during the event, the field soon became waterlogged.

There were two entertainment tents with bands, comedy and kids entertainment in the afternoon. There was also a separate beer/cider tent where you could sit down and have a natter.

Plenty of trade sites and food wagons. A very good rally which I look foward to doing again.

The 2011 Autumn NABD Rally was the first one I have done for three years.

The site is an airfield at Enstone in Oxfordshire and is ideal for the event having plenty of space for camping and the three marquees that are used for the entertainment and the real ale and ciders all at very good prices.

The amount of entertainment and quality of it make this one of the best value rallies on the circuit.

Friday night was spent drinking the ciders and dancing to the three bands in just one of the marquees. I was wrestled to the ground by a Welsh woman from the Unpredictables.

Saturday the beer tent opened at 12.00 so I decided that the hair of the dog was needed and then Rick Hulses Smacked Arse Comedy Club began. Some really good comedians appeared including the bloke in the Yorkshire broadband tv adverts. Then it was time for more bands and I again was grounded by the same woman.

This is certainly one of the best rallies of the year.
