Penny Farthing Rally

There was only one Penny Farthing Rally. It was organised by The Penny Farthing MCC and Helped By The Linton Flyers MCC. All the members of both clubs were in the RAF at RAF Linton on Ouse near York.

The marquee was made from half a dozen parachutes spread out and held up with poles.

There was a disco called Reveille Rock Disco which played all weekend and the marquee was made from half a dozen parachutes spread out and held up with poles.

There were only 200 badges made and the rally was attended by over 600 Bikers.

We are lucky to have a copy of one of those 200 badges thanks to Nigel Woodthorpe.
