Two Moons Rally

Maggie and Dave Cooper of the Shakespeare MCC set out from Leamington, Maggie on her CX Dave on his NT650V. Here is the story from Dave.

We called in at Seaton, Devon to collect Clive Long another Shakespeare MCC member. He had booked for the rally but his Harley had failed again & it's a long walk to Bodmin Moor from Seaton.

The ride down had been v wet in places but we did get the tents up fairly dry.

The three of us went into Launceston for a look round the castle & a fry up in a pub.

Then back to the site for a noggin & natter. Clive spent hours trying to chat up Mary Roberts. Clive is an optimist.

The evening saw the appearance of a cracking disco. They even played some Sensational Alex Harvey Band.

And so to bed.

Sunday morning dawned wet. Clive climbed on the back of the NT for the run back to Seaton for fish & chips sat in a bus shelter out of the rain.

We bid our farewells to Clive & headed for the M5.

The weather dried up after Bristol. The sun came out & the world was OK again.

Apart from the weather it was a good weekend. We are going to do it again in 2008.
