Editorial - Oct/Nov 1976

Once again the Megaphone barks, admittedly a little late but it is a bumper edition. Due to Ben being slightly modified by a car the new Megaphone covers have been held back until the next issue. I have decided to experiment with a bit of colour though - hope you like it.

A couple of weeks ago the Dinner and Social was held at the Golden Fleece and a great time was had by all. This was especially due to Dave Cockerton's excellent disco. Another knees-up is planned for New Years Eve, this time at the Cricketers where a suitable bar extension and food have been arranged.

A change of event for the 8th of December has been decided by the committee - a bring and buy auction will be held instead of the film show which has been postponed until January. Details will be found on the noticeboard.

A pat on the back is deserved by the RAC/ACU instructors after last Sunday's test where 15 out of 16 pupils passed. I hope to be back with you soon lads, now that I have been given the go ahead to repair my Commando.

My thanks go to all those who have submitted articles for this issue and especially to Sue who once again did a great job of typing the complete Megaphone.
