I recently came across some old photos of my home made bike.

In 1976 I decided to build a Solo Norton featherbed framed bike with a Hillman Imp car engine. Many older rallyists will remember it. It made a lovely noise!

It is still on the road & I've met the owner a couple of times on cross channel ferries! Not bad for a home made bike well over 30 years old - the frame is over 50 years old!

I've attached the photos, they may be of interest. I think the one with a tent was at a rally in the Brighton or Hastings area.

I finished & registered the bike for 1st. August 1977 (S reg) & I sold the bike in 1979 after using it for 2 years at UK & European rallies.
