6th August 1982 - Guildford MCC
Pretty unremarkable rally in deepest Surrey once again. The weather was a little overcast, but not doing anything unpleasant.
The grass was a bit damp and I didn't feel like sitting on it while watching the games, so I got a couple of items from the firewood pile, (only the main bonfire allowed), and set them up into a suitable sitting arrangement.
Before piling into, and around the small marquee for both evenings, (the marquee was so small, the disco was actually set up OUTSIDE it), we walked the mile or so to the nearest village pub for a few hours.
A pleasantly uneventful and restful rally.
