Organised in June by Pint Pullers MCC near Liskeard Cornwall
The Pint Pullers Piss Up, to give it its full name, is a marquee based rally held in a field near the village of West Taphouse.
The Club run their own bar and very reasonably priced draught bitter is available on Friday and usually most of Saturday night! When this runs out there are cans or bottles so all is not lost! Be warned though, the Rally is well named, and it is considered rude to go to bed before daylight the next morning. I wanted to go out on my bike the next day so I had to sneak off to bed early ... about 3am! And it was noticed!!!
The Farmer who owns the field is usually to be seen in and around the bar area and the club seem to take good care of him drinks wise. I am not sure how old he is but I think he would qualify for a bus pass (It wouldn't be much use though as it's not on a bus route!)
There are bands on Friday and Saturday, and again be warned, the music stopped at about 7 in the morning last year! It's a big field so if you are a light sleeper I would recommend camping as far from the marquee as possible.
There was a catering van on site selling the usual hot dogs, burgers and chips, but also had curries and chillies for the more adventurous diners! Bacon rolls and full breakfasts were also on sale in the morning.
